Normally it’s difficult to do subtle vibrato, but given the mechanism of this trem, there is a lot of travel/room to move the arm, which is perfect for more detailed subtle chord tremolo. People seem to be a bit divided on these, but now that it’s playing well, I really, really like it! It’s going to be featured on many recordings for sure! The tremolo system is also really cool. The middle position actually does sound a bit like a twangy telly, but other than that it is more alike a Gretsch (given the Dearmond pickups).

Geez, they didn’t need to blow their budget on Max Headroom for that message when they could’ve just brought in some more out of work 60s TV stars to cover that territory. The bridge pickup has a really interesting bite and the neck is very fat. Coke brought in Max Headroom to help convince the angry fan base that their reformulated beverage was at least better than Pepsi. Definitely not something you’d busy out for a death metal set, but it provides some really nice clean tones jangle, as well as warm tones. Now, after having been a mostly ornamental collector’s piece, it has finally been refretted and ‘done up’ to make it not just ‘playable’, but actually very nice to play! It sounds very different from any of the other guitars I use/own. sometime in the 60s and I havent seen too many of this particular model out there.
